Caliber
is a half brother to Shenandoah and French Vanilla. His dam
is our Anasazi who was AOBA Champion in 2002. Anasazi is pictured
in Mike Safley's "Ideal Alpacas from Myth to Reality."
The commentary reads "We were taken aback by the substance
and quality of both the conformation and fleece of this animal.
I now take a mental picture of her fleece into the ring with
me when I judge suris."
Caliber's
sire, Boilermak'r is a Champion son of the known, "Sire
of the Century", Accoyo Baron. Caliber exhibits good conformation
and a highly lustrous fleece with very nice locking at this
age. He would be a wonderful addition to anyone's breeding program
and is sure to turn heads in the show ring.
